Performance
Crafted from open cell polyurethane OrthoLite® retains 95% of its cushioning after the first year compared to the 30% achieved by regular EVA.
Lightweight and breathable
OrthoLite® open cell foam is lightweight and breathable, permitting air to circulate under foot allowing excess heat and moisture to escape for cool comfort.

Performance
Chamfered lugs allow dirt to be released quickly, improving traction on wet and other types of terrain.
Forward lugs are angled to encourage propulsion whilst rear lugs are angled to encourage breaking. Lugs are opened up in flex points to allow better flex and reduce foot fatigue.

Vibram® RollinGait System (RGS) is an innovative technology that helps the natural roll of the foot, blending form and flexibility. XLR8 is our latest in midsole technology. An ultimate lightweight midsole which is 10% lighter than regular EVA. This new Hi-Tec created technology provides 10% greater rebound and 10% better energy absorption when compared to regular EVA. What makes Thinsulate™ insulation so important to a cold weather boot?
Three words: thin, warm, light.
Thinsulate™ insulation works by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space, the greater it’s insulating value. Because the Microfibers in Thinsulate™ insulation are far finer than other fibres, they trap more air in less space, which naturally makes it a better insulator.
The unique fibres of Thinsulate™ insulation are about ten times smaller than the fibres of other synthetic insulations, which means they’re much more efficient at trapping air…and much more effective at keeping you warm.
